In Those Moments

In Those Moments

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

I'm a hopeless romantic, so sue me, LOL

"

In those moments of good times

It gives me no greater pleasure

Then to share them with you.

For it turns such treasured times

Into priceless memories

For two minds wrapped in

A heart built for deuce.

In those moments of sorrow

We stand side by side

As our hearts become pillars

Of strength leaning on one another,

Not even Hercules can knock them over.

They say there is strength in numbers

But here two is like a packed stadium.

In those moments of disagreement

Harsh words may get spoken

But the sharp edges are padded

By the faith in one another

To ensure that the wounds

Are always temporary.

In those moments of passion

We get lost in the heat of the night

Causing the embers of desire

To shine like a beacon.

The sweat created between us

Is the dew from a rainforest

Ensuring desire won’t dry up

And become extinct.

Every moment of every day

Says that we are without a doubt

Forever love.

Oh Dale...how precious, and I echo your sentiments from the flickering of candlelight, the soft kisses, tender embraces, flowers gracing the table. To be a romantic is a gift of one's heart to another!
Please don't ever stop being just who you are, as your romanticism gives us these beautiful poems of love....of forever love!

So wonderful to share your world with another, and you express the beauty and strength of such a rich life so well. To find that one who melts into you... oh... the greatest blessing on earth... Amazing write!

You have become quiet the romantic and the face suits you well. A wonderful romantic writing that so speaks volumes of the power of two. Cannot quote one favorite verse as it all flows as one, drawing the reader down a seemingly quiet stream to be suddenly confronted with the rapids of love shouting the words you have written and saying this is what love is all about. Great job and may wnatever is fueling your passion continue to do so, for something has surely inspired you into creating these wonderful writings.

I have found that even in those moments where tension and misguided feelings are present, when there is underlying trust in one another, even the dischord doesn't feel so bad. Nicely done cowboy!
