The WalkA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Under the glare of heaven’s beacon A midnight rose is covered in early morning dew. This being just the beginning, Or is it the end Of life’s miracle bestowed up on you The day you began to live and die? Can salvation come to life out of Yesterday’s dreams, Or has faith in tomorrow’s nightmares Become subliminal prayers Imbedded within the soul? Now is the time… Now it’s do or die Walk upon the thorns and petals, If you feel the soft comfort of the rose You’re already damned and forgotten. If you bleed Then you know the Garden of Eden Is still within reach. © 2009 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
