I Thou SacrificeA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Under this relentless red sky I shall endure To bring color to your barren soul. For there is no greater deed Then to know that my parchment Means new life To your thirsty emotions. You can drain me of my strength Yet I shall never become your weakness. Wrap my stem around your heart, I promise that my thorns Shall only make you bleed What thy needs… The sins of yesterday, The mistakes of tomorrow. For to be the rose That keeps thy desires from wilting I thou sacrifice.
