HumanityA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Beneath the street lights, Under the sign that reads “Jesus saves” Sits a girl scared and alone With nowhere to run and hide. Jaded in youth by neglect and abuse, Now it has come to this Because no one would listen. She’ll sell her soul to make a buck As her chance for happiness Is washed down the gutter. The world throws away Another child, Too wrapped up in itself to care. Humanity is not to blame, It’s the human race forgetting the meaning. © 2013 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
