Unspoken

Unspoken

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

it is what it is

"

It may never be known

Yet it runs deep.

It is not to be touched

Still I can feel it.

It is not mine to cherish

Somehow I find it priceless.

It will remain unspoken

Though my heart can hear it.

Ah! This was beautiful..
Such a thoughtful and deep piece of writing it is!
I loved the flow and how effortlessly as a reader I could relate it to myself, I guess we all can relate ourselves with it in some or other way and thats what makes this piece so special :)

Though I loved the entire piece of writing, but for me the closing lines out stands -
"It will remain unspoken
Though my heart can hear it." - It is very rare when we read anything so deep and true.
Really, touched the very core of me :)

Great work .

Lovely poem. it is so true, sometimes that person may not be with us, in the flesh, but we can still "feel them" through other senses, which can be just as strong. sometimes the best things are unspoken. such as alison craus song, "when you say nothing at all..." comes to mind. thanks for touching me again dale.

I love how "it" is never defined because many things could apply. It makes me think of what "it" is in my life that makes me feel this same way.

I like this, Dale. Very mysterious. The cadence of it is beautiful. Great job. You've packed a lot into such a little......

If you need it to happen you betten speak it. Give life to your words. It is a good thing. As long as they are good words. Speak your destiny. There is nothing like uncovered treasures.

What a wonderful look at love. This is powerful, it makes me think of yearning, burning mature love. The stuff that stands the test of time.
