Artwork

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

When I look at you thoughts

Of an expensive painting comes to mind…

Your features as delicate

As brush strokes

Though your beauty

Is far more priceless

Then anything from Picasso.

To hear your thoughts

Is like listening to my

Favorite song…

I memorize every word

So I can play it over and over

When I need a pick me up.

To know your heart

I think of my favorite book …

Full of so many emotions,

Each one of them

Is something special

That’s why I love to read it

Over and over.

Guess what I am

Simply trying to say is…

You are pure artwork.

art in any form is....special...silently crafted...and the one who created it did it with passon and zeal, and the best intentions. that's why it's so special that you compare a woman to artwork. very romantic, and i enjoyed reading this poem. it would be even more amazing to be the woman in this poem. lol.

This is a gem, I've read this a few times. Loving and gentle your words are in this emotional, moving piece. I like the analogies. The last few lines were simply breath-taking and personal. Good job on this one RRC.
