Dear Mother...A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)This poem is my Mother's Day present to my mom.
Your heartbeat was my lifeline Before the world knew I existed. Your soul is what molded me Into the man I strive to be. Your love continues to be My guidance when I falter My strength when I am down My friends when I am alone. Though I miss you with all my heart I know God must have needed you, And can’t blame him for that. I still take comfort in our conversations Through the gentle breezes. I feel unconditional pride When I see your smile on the sunlight. I await my arrival to heaven Know you will greet me beyond the gates. Till that time I will… Use freedom to be the man I want to be Use courage to be the men I need to be. Most importantly cherish this life you gave me. © 2009 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Author's Note
