The Strength Of Love

  

Your white dove touch

Is the definition of pure bliss

Making me forget

That my heart was ever shattered

Turning it from a piece of glass

To a flawless diamond.

 

You wrap your wings around my heart

Giving me the freedom

To glide above the brimstone of hate

Making it look like

The fires of passion

From this heavenly view.

 

I once felt like a vulture

Till you nested within my heart

Now I am an eagle

Strong enough to love

Within your feathered soul.
