Keep The Faith

Keep The Faith

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Within these windowless walls

Are blind thoughts in the corners of the mind,

Revelation stimulations…

Killing everything I've known to be true.

Turning every colorful photo in the album

Into charcoal memories

Blowing in the wind

Scattering burnt remains

Upon the flowers and trees

Giving the illusion of an eclipse.

This is when reaching deep inside

To the miracles that lies

Within thy own soul are needed.

For only the magic of your reflection

Can reveal the illusions created

From the disease

Of jealous minds

Leading to ones death

Though you still roam the earth.

So with slight of hand

Say a prayer.

In the blink of an eye

See the light.

Keep the faith

And you will not bleed in vain.

Very deep.. dark but ending with a positive note to keep faith.. this is very important in life..

So with slight of hand
Say a prayer.
In the blink of an eye
See the light.

This could be interpreted many ways.. metamorphically speaking it's utter sorrow.. waiting for something.. like the end of darkness.. I could be taking it wrong though.. I believe many struggle with light and darkness.. can only hope they find their way to that light .. thank you for sharing!!! =)

This is some in depth thinking looking inside yourself see what is causing the problem. Jealousy is never a good thing. It always leads to a destruction of some kind. This has a profound beauty and thoughts that make you take a deep look. Some memories do become more charcoal but I am fortunate for I dream in vivid color.

There is a profound voice flowing powerfully through your sacred imagery... life and love painted in the darkest hues of what remains in the shadows. Deeply moving and emotionally stirring words.

I love this! Actually, it's just what I needed right now, 'cause I"m sure feeling the first stanza. Wonderful uplifting and hopeful piece.

I found this sad yet inspirational. Reminds me of looking at my mother's picture when I am feeling low .. and i feel faith again..

Yet another beautifully penned piece. Well done.
My favorite part...

So with slight of hand

Say a prayer.

In the blink of an eye

See the light.
