To have someone special

holding you when

The darkest of nights

Grows cold

Is worth breathing for.

 

To find that someone

Who’s devotion goes

As deep as yours

Till death do you part

Is worth living for.

 

To know you have someone

That loves you with

Unconditional support

When all else fails

Is worth fighting for…

 

But when you don’t have

These things to consider

Then danger is no fear

And falling over the edge

Is not the end.

You've said it well � there are qualities we should value in our lives because without them life holds little meaning � has no value. Your words speak clearly and directly. When there is nothing in our lives of value � there is nothing to lose. In these matters of the heart � we all need to be reminded that love is to be valued � a beautiful gift to be cherished.

This poem packs a lot of meaning. I've always wanted to give my all but I hold back way too much. When or better yet- IF- I fall I usually do it with a bungee cord attached, I get close enough to touch before I'm snatched back. It's my protection from a crash landing. But I have always wondered what it would be like to just let go and free fall.

is worth fighting for.. but..... yep there is that but,, when you don't? have those things... then taking
chances is endless, cause there is nothing to loose? but only a chance to gain!!
