When My Earth Reflects My TimeA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Gazing upon reflections Through atmosphere eyes I see that my life Maybe just a speck Yet it is no greater or no less Then any other living soul. My failures Hidden accomplishments, My victories Priceless treasures. Clearly I see the roads I traveled were never straight Yet very necessary, For every paved mile Cemented my character. My mistakes Greater strength, My good deeds The real me. I now know through faith’s eyes Revealed to me through My hearts content That when I am one again With the planet And my earth reflects my time My soul will take its place Behind the pearly gates, But my spirit will still grow From the seeds of my heart I planted in those I love. © 2009 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Author's Note
