You managed to not only create this genius of a poem,
but every stanza was a poem it was like reading
5 poems in one!!! Genius!!!! I can't believe you came
up with allllll fo that with my Title?? you are simply an
amazing writer... my favorite? by far is....
From the moment this is read it is obvious that it is inspired. Stunning work Dale, you are so proficient at putting your heart 'out there' You have a small problem at the beginning of your last stanza;
I now know through faith's eyes
Revealed to me through
My hearts content
This is fragmented and needs revising. Take a closer look at it Dale and you will see what I mean, maybe the second 'through' could be changed to 'by' Up to you my friend :~)
How very beautiful Dale! It is by the trials in our life that we are able to grow and rise above that which weighs us down........and that you realize that you are but one, and no less than anyone else, that you have learned life, and someday behind the Pearly Gates, those who are left behind will still be fed by the good that you have done.....the love that you have given!!
I really love this one!
Bless you with love,
Sheila
Beautiful poem Dale. It just shows your depth, introspection, and character. which is full of light. I could relate with you on this, I have felt this way many times, and my life is similar to what you wrote here. the best part is the ending:
My soul will take its place
Behind the pearly gates,
But my spirit will still grow
From the seeds of my heart
I planted in those I love.
beautiful! i can tell you probably sat down just for a moment and wrote this, it flowing from your soul.
Exquisite and spiritual piece!
"Clearly I see the roads
I traveled were never straight
Yet very necessary,
For every paved mile
Cemented my character.
Magnificent worldview..fantastic piece!
this is beautiful. i must say, unlike me, you are always so optimisitic, so hopeful, & that's inspiring. i love reading your work, i always know i'm going to read something deep, & thought-provoking, & uplifting. this is an amazing piece. "I see that my life Maybe just a speck Yet it is no greater or no less Then any other living soul." i really love these lines.
It's better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool
