The Golden PondA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
When feelings are no longer sacred And blue falls from the sky To cover my canvas skin I seek out the color That can turn my life Into a twisted tail Dreams are made of, That’s why I swim to the center Of the golden pond. But the further I dive in The more euphoria’s illusion Become my absolute master Until I dry off to find The water has filled my lungs. So my search to find The river of serenity grows Cause the truth be known From every dip I take in that pond I lose a little more of myself. © 2009 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
