My Dance With The Devil

  

Depths of hell

Swallow me

Only to spit me out.

First degree burns

All that remain

Though never showing.

I danced with the devil

And never paid

Or just maybe… I did!!

Only time will tell

When all is revealed.

 

Anticipation…

 

… frustration

 

tears at my soul

and cracks my skull

making the heart explode.

 

Now I know…

 

…Now I see

 

The cracked mirror

Has always reflected

What I couldn’t see

Oh well… to late now.

Dale.........sometimes we think we can have it both ways...but, there is good and bad, and when we go one way or the other, and when we are bad we do dance with the devil and how quickly it may catch up with us....off guard and unexpected at times!
A write with much wisdom and advice for us.......be careful what we do!...we may have pay for it in a way we least expect!

So much truth here! Dance with the Devil and you think you don't get burned but....we all find out the truth sooner or later!

I really liked it because it seemed to beautiful and seriuos but the two lines

they just didn't seem to fit. it seemed very amature, not that i am to talk but, just something to think about...i guess.
