Flower, Bouquet, Garden

Flower, Bouquet, Garden

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

During this, the toughest of storms

Oh my fairest lady I can plainly see

You are a radiant flower

Whose pollen is the source

Where some of the sweetest honey comes from.

And he is merely an arrogant bee,

Only wanting one thing.

Too busy with his own needs

To appreciate all the beauty

Your silky petals offer

To a world in need of color.

Just how can I make you see,

Truly divine woman,

That you’re a bouquet of flowers

Arranged so perfectly

To out do

Any centerpiece at a black tie affair.

But he is nothing more

Than an empty, cracked vase

That cannot hold the water

To keep you alive with the true passion

that takes our breath away.

I know when this storm finally passes,

And the rain you found harmful

Will have made your roots stronger.

Then you will finally see,

That you are the Garden Of Eden,

And he is just an ignorant weed

Not worthy to flourish in your soil.

So powerfully moving, clinging magically to a sense of eternal beauty and grace... The contrasts between the divine love and the earthy dust are profound and make the read so perfect...

Dale, your words are like the fresh scent of flowers blowing on the spring breeze. How I do so very much adore this piece. It brings me comfort and peace during the most difficult of times. A true, kindred spirit are you! I wish there were more individuals in the world with a heart as kind as yours. :) Nicely done. LOVE the font. It's elegant and divine. :)

Dale, Dale, Dale, every woman needs a friend like you. The sincerity of your poem is so genuine, so heartfelt, I felt your words! You have a way of lifting a woman's spirit and making her feel so special and loved. Beautifully written and I'm sure your dear friend truly appreciates and loves you to pieces for all that you are and all that you do ... warm hugs

How very true Dale! Some just can't see the beauty of what they have for the weeds in the garden. If they could clear the weeds out of the way...weeds of disrespect, greed, pride, unforgiveness, anger, and more, they might be able to recognize the true value of what they have in the beautiful bouquet before them!
I am sorry for your friend's pain, and for not being appreciated for who she really is. As, you say, he is just a cracked vase.....a wonderful example of one who lets the good just run through the cracks of life.
Well expressed!
