Journey Of A Lonesome SoulA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Down a long dirt road with Rocks and holes. Neverending… destination unknown. Sunshine offers no relief To the northern wind chilling the bones. Weeping willows wave you over Only to slap you in the face. A prayer for rain to quench hope Turns into the nightmare Of getting stuck in the mud. Back to pleading for the sun To burn what’s left of the heart Till the ashes are scattered along This endless dirt road. Every day is the same On this journey of a lonesome soul. © 2009 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
