Touch/FeelA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
I touch the candle To light the flame Reminding me of The light in your eyes. As I await your return To this house so cold Turning it back into A home so warm. I touch the sheets We lay between Sharing dreams and Fight nightmares as one. I can feel Our future firmly built On the foundation Of every treasured memory.
Upon your return I touch my chest To feel what beats Only for you.
I touch your hand Tracing my fingers Along your silky skin Like feathers from heaven. Suddenly I can feel The rush of passion Flowing through your skin That baptizes me with life. I touch your heart With no hands I feel your love No strings attached. © 2009 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
