Nature's Cure

Nature's Cure

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Delicate jasmine dances

On a soft breeze like a ballerina

Touching my memories

Like butterfly kisses

From childhood days.

Clovers spread like gypsies

Through dandelion dreams,

None of them four leafed

Though lucky all the same.

Sun kissed daisies

Fill my heart with sprinkles

Of pollination that develops

Into nature’s medicine

Curing what once was lost.

Now I have discovered

The true essence of divine being

When my eyes finally seen

What  only a blind person does.

I loved this poem. Had such a sweet message; sometimes blind people can "see" more, because they are only allowed the senses such as sense of touch and smell, etc so they are one with their surroundings more than one who can see. I agree, many times when I was in nature, it brought back memories of childhood and others times in my life, and closing my eyes I felt one with what was around me, and how beautiful it was. THANK YOU for this poem.

So beautifully done. The first stanza drew me in like a bee to a flower.

Thank you for this poem. I enjoyed the travel back to my childhood yet the reminder that every thing seen sometimes can be better felt in the spirit. This was a very powerful poem done with such few words. That is a gift itself.

There where night reaches beyond dreams
I sleep no more
Hearing whispers of time calling out to me
the future gasps for air
Mindless focusing of purity of life
stumbles to find no rest
Answering questions of nothing
but everything revealed
My heart lay dormant in wait
for that one moment
I seek the truth of enlightenment
tangled among lies
The greatest journey of life
begins with one single step forward.

It is always wonderful reading your words and allowing them to inspire the imagination of a dream such as I. Truly enjoyed the entrapment of my mind's eye seeing the ideas that came to life with your words.

Great Job!!!!!!!!
