When The Weeping Willow Cries

When The Weeping Willow Cries

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

When that weeping willow cries

It feeling the pain of neglect

Mother nature feels.

When the weeping willow cries

It sees how hard everyday life is

On mother earth

When the weeping willow cries

It can’t believe how lonely

The children of the night are.

So when you see the weeping willow cry

Don’t ask her why, ask humanity.

Nice Dale, this was simply alot better then the one I wrote in less then 5 minutes, haha. I should probably go back and re-construct it, but oh well. I think you should deserve to win, and add another award to the ones I already gave you! Ha!

"So when you see the weeping willow cry
Don't ask her why, ask humanity."

-- I couldn't agree any more with you!!!

This was a great take on the reasoning side of the question. I think of Mother Earth as a singular entity, a living being, her rivers and winds as her circulatory system, the boiling lava, her blood, the trees and plants her coverings and the animals, her children. Mankind has become an infecting parasite though and the earth will heal herself in time but she just may shake us humans from her skirts like a bad case of fleas because we do not honor her or give her the respect she deserves. She is over 4 billion years old and has more than a few tricks up her sleave.

Oh yes....tears are created by humanity's failure to turn a new leaf! Well thought out and expressed!
