New year dawning

Everyone anticipating

What is to come.

 

You make resolutions

Every year breaking them

All without hesitation

Remembering life is to short for boundaries.

Resolutions. What resolutions? My last resolution, was made about 5 years, with the promise, to be honest with myself. And still keeping it. Truer words have never been more true than your last line. Happy New Year, Dale. May you continue to write interesting posts here. :)

it should be : life is TOO short, not to short. hehe
But I like the concept of this. however i'm not sure resolutions are boundaries are the same thing. we may resolve to do something BETTER next year, how does that then become a boundary?

Love this! The ending is so true! It seems as though no one really keeps their new year resolutions...I sure don't that's why I don't make them :) Great poem! I love the ring to this piece! :)
