This Christmas Night

This Christmas Night

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

Wishing you all a peaceful holiday filled with love and laughter

"

One single star

Shines brighter then the rest

Illuminating this silent night

Sending streaks of silver light

Across the land

Like a bell ringing a quiet prayer

Of peace and happiness

For all mankind.

Blissful snow

Blankets the earth

Like the layer of clouds

On heaven’s floor.

All the people walking along

Like angels spreading tidings

Of peace and love

To strangers and loved ones.

The moon creates its own

Holiday magic through a lunar glow

That reflects off the snow

Giving the trees the gift

Of showing off their festive green

With a shimmering pride.

So now all is calm

All is bright

On this holiest of nights.

I’m wishing you all

Endless health and happiness

Throughout your lives

As we celebrate the sprit of Christ.

Wow this was well written! Very beautiful. I must say you held me through out the whole poem to the start to the very end. I love seasonal poetry, it makes me connected to nature. You did a great job of painting the picture for me with your words. Thanks!

This is wonderful, and I absolutely loved it! There is peace here, and has
such a calming effect. Like a soft lullaby easing our worries.

Thank you for sharing this:)

This is undoubtfully beautiful.

I like how you encompassed my favorite Christmas song, Silent Night into it. In the season of "spending" we can all use a reminder of why we celebrate it in the first place.

Merry Christmas and many blessings.
