Vibrant imagery, and an expert combination of sex and violence. You also add darkness here with the narrator seeming to be inhuman, a werwolf. However, he may not be a genuine otherworldy creature and could just be like us. The emotions the narrator feels can be human or other worldy. The difference is insignificant, I think, which says a lot about mankind. Very enjoyable.
