Ocean Desperado

Ocean Desperado

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Melancholy heart

Heading for disaster

EPIC…  of Titanic essence

Sunken memories

Lost at sea

Relics… treasures in a pirate’s chest

Gasping though hoping… to suffocate

Take my last breathe before

Being washed ashore…

Maybe

Just maybe

It’s where I should be

On an island

       Deserted… surrounded by sharks.

As of late I've been reading some very diverse writing from you RRC. This only confirms how much depth and flexibility your creative mind possesses. It is a true gift indeed to be able to compose such outstanding works. I love the last 2 lines. It was both unexpected and surrendering. I also like the rhythm. Nice work.

Ack!!! Know the feeling, however creative. The character here has a definite feel of resident desparage. You have found a way to totally bring that through from start to end. Well done. I hope it was indeed a character write. I do them all the time...sometimes very cathartic.

The flexibility of the imagery in "A pirate's chest" was a moment of pure genius for you. Your writing is beautiful and I enjoyed this. A very brilliant piece!

You did well. I have a passion for the Titanic. It's in my books. One of my ghosts went down with the Titanic. Great write

The isolating of one self from a world that to often doesn't seem to understand us. Finding a comfort in something that to most would surely drive them mad is so apparent. I can feel the strength and wisdom that lies among these lines and I know the entangling heart that dwells with in the words here all to well. As always you have put me in awe at the depths in which you have caused me to look into myself as I read your words.

Great Job!!!!!

This is sad and lonesome. I don't like being in this place ... but it won't last forever.

I understand this poem so completely.. you really don't know the strength you have until you realise what you've written. I've been here too, more recently than I care to admit.. your strength comes from identifying the problem and then facing it. I think you have that power :)

great write my friend, it really touched me.
