Speak Of The DevilA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Staring into the soul Of this winter wizard Is like a crystal ball Revealing familiar shadows Rising in a sea of flames. Soft snowflakes fall Gentle upon my tongue Yet taste like acid rain Making me spit words of hate And burns reality into my sight. Heaven becomes a four-letter word When angels dance the macabre, Doves become creatures of the night And the pearly gates are closed For reconstruction and repairs. Speak of the devil He shatters my dreams Every time I open my eyes. © 2008 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
