A Different Me

A Different Me

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

A quick write that was dying to get out of me.

"

Sometimes I feel like a stranger

When feeling arise I don’t recognize.

I slip into and alternate abyss

Trying to make sense of this grip.

Did I fall down the rabbit hole?

Cause it don’t feel like a fairy tale

When I see… a different me.

I know I came and read and reviewed. I said something about how we all find ourselves falling down that rabbit hole. A clever write.

Cowboy -

Line two - feeling/ feelings
Line three - and/an

Other than those two typos, this was a poem that many, if not all, can relate to. There are times we don't recognize our own selves. It is hard to get perspective on one's own self.

You're not alone with this feeling Dale.
I have felt this way so many times, and you have expressed it so well in this poem.
Great write, my friend.

Boy, I know this feeling. Right about now, I'm full up to the neck with it!!! LOL. We are still us even though things pop up sometimes that make us feel like a stranger has taken over our body and mind. Great little read!
