Wish Upon A Star

  

 

The passionate words that drip

From your sensual voice

Brings a glistening beauty to my soul

Like the dew on a rose pedal.

Bitter words from years past

Have become sweet as honey

That I can taste on your skin

With the purity of nature’s bliss.

The feel of our strawberry lips

Pressed ever so softly on my skin

Has allowed the love to flow through

This harden heart like a champagne waterfall.

Now as I stand here looking into the sky

With a half a smile and a tear in my eye

I make a wish upon a star

That you would have stayed around

Long enough for me to do

The same for you heart.

i thought this was beautiful.....and many a time it has been myself standing looking into the sky with half a smile and many tears in my eyes, making wishes upon stars that someone would stay around long enough for me to do the same.
