I Believe

Finding the positive

  

The flame in my eye

Becomes a ring of fire

That surrounds my heart

With kind warm emotions

Every time I see her.

It gives me the strength

To ride on for what I believe

And my faith breathes a sigh.

 

The candlelight in her eyes

Flickers with hints of blue

From heartaches of yesterday

Yet I still see a red glow

Of devotion and loyalty

To the one her heart burns for

And now I believe again

That love does exsist.

Wonderfully written. Love is certainly blind and in being so, it over rides all !! Sometimes a good thing....sometimes not. I sense an abudance of longing here with positive vibes about to bounce right back. Thanks for sharing.

Oh this is tremendously happy but with a sense of longing in undertones.. could be misreading this.. you are finding faith in watching another you admire.. giving you hope of love and that it can exist. Yet, in the arms of another.. you sense hints of yesterday's blues.. but see the glow of red of devotion and loyalty to the one her heart burns for. It is beautiful to admire others for that passion in life.. but we also must not neglect to find it for ourselves.. I sensed a love for this one written "her".. it may be friendship.. but it's like your flow of faith is found through her very being and presence.

The love you feel could be for a sister whom you admire.. or best friend.. but I felt more through the essence.. every time you see her .. you find such strength! Truly there are those we look up to in life.. and idolize sometimes from afar.. this is truly a high tribute to an individual whom has touched you pretty deeply.. may their love flourish as well as the love in your heart!
