This took my breath away...
I am awed at the voice you speak in for this piece.
This is an awesome well worded write.
The fog rolls in
In the nick of time
To make the illusion
Of happiness
Support
And love
Of their faceless souls
That mirror depression.
~~~~~I have to read more from you.
This spoke volumes...loudly.
This also speaks sadly for my three friends(not at the same time)
that thought nobody heard them(those paper thin emotions)...
they took their lives thinking that
life would be better for them
when the raven whisked them away into the
blues forever. From now on when I see the RAVENS
I will think of them and you.
A beautiful thought...tragic and beautiful. The thing that I like the most is the feeling in the end of the piece...it's sort of like a light at the end of a dark tunnel; an uplifting feeling in the face of tragedy. The "raven" is a great image...used often in poetry and literature, but you've managed to make it slightly new, which is wonderful. I enjoyed this piece...very deep and poignant. Bravo.
A hopeless insight into the hopeless soul...but a raven is the final demise, as they are birds of prey who devour, this one is deep and sounds so final, excellent Dale.
Hope endures....thanks for asking me to read this piece. I was intrigued from the title and picture you chose to use. I love them...of course Ravens have such dark sinister personalities attached to them and this was quite a creative twist that you used....interesting. I could go on and on but I will stop here! haha
Cheers to you and the Raven, lea
Wow Dale, you keep getting deeper and deeper my friend. In keeping with the Halloween spirit a perfect write. Very well written. Death is always a dark subject. This is going to my favs
It's better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool
