Personal ArmageddonA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
Deep from the core Of my volatile brain Erupt melancholy thoughts Spilling all over those in my life Burning some of them to ashes. From the darkest shadows In the chambers of my heart Lurk monsters never seen But all too often heard Scaring away those I love. Within the vortex Of my aged intellect Emerge sentimental ideas To make loved ones feel As special as they make me feel. Flowing through my veins From a heart so true Is a complete devotion For all those who Have always given in kind. Though mind and heart Have so much in common Trying to do what is right And sometimes doing wrong With the best of intensions The relationship between the two Is like a personal Armageddon Every day!! © 2008 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured Review
