![]() Fast FoodA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)![]() inspired by a poem by Yira Simone![]() In a world of modern conviences It seems love has become that too, So many treating it like fast food. Someone comes along And devours your heart Like a juicy burger And naws on your soul Like some salty French fries. Then throws you aside Like the wrapper they came in. Somehow you end up being the one Who feels weighed down By all the fat and grease From their eat and run attitude And your health suffers Feeling one step closer to A heart attack. © 2010 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Author's Note
