Winter Mind

Winter Mind

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Frozen dreams cover

            Silent screams

Heed the warning about judging a book by its cover,

The greatest conspiracies seep from the cracks in the mind.

Using unguarded memories to keep the fight alive,

Not allowing bloody footprints to

            Ice over!!

S.O.S. is not a warning as much as it is a destiny

That forever will >>>  Follow me?

Thoughts of winter at this time of year; it almost makes me shiver to think about those long cold months which will be here soon...at least where I live. But clearly this is about much more than winter as it is about something deeper. The coldness of someone's thoughts. The unfeeling behavior of others..that cold chill of rejection and harsh words. Yes, you've captured that here quite well.

If someone said follow me, well, I would run like hell LOL!
This reminds me of a scene in some suspense movie, and you
sure captured the scariness;). AD

deep and dark, kind of scary, an imagination could "silently scream" with these thoughts running through...
not sure I truly understood it but that was my take.......:)

This is a poem about how make the fear gone and past experience frozen and how to look into future of a young love fearlessly. simply...intrepidly love in surrender...wonderful words...so great to see you happy. I loved your questioning - made for us.

A thinking piece.... I like very much. The words you use are just wonderful to describe emotion. I'm a little chilly. :)

WOW.
I was captured by this, immediately. Within its briefness is a wonderful statement that brings chills to the spine.
Your style, your flow, even the diction is perfect for this post.
Keep writing. I look forward to more. :)
