On Bended KneeA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
As I kneel before you I look around and think to seventeen years back when we stood against the world not listening to the gossip and talk. When people are jealous they can be cruel, we just stuck to our guns knowing it was right. I breathe a sigh and think of those nights looking up to the stars talking about how they are very much like our dreams, far off in the distance but how we could still can see them. Now I on my knee before you with this beautiful bouquet to show you how much you mean to me. I stare into a dark gray tombstone now facing the world alone with the only dreams left being memories of you. © 2008 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
