I have alot to say about this poem yet again another great poem of yours, you have the gift with the mind heart and the hand that writes your poems, This piece stuck out wonderfuly cause of just mainly this part
Heaven's tears fall
so compassionately down
a porcelain face carved
of beauty and grace.
These forces of nature alone
define divine innocents
but together create
an angel with a dirty face.
Danger lies in being alone
but the devil is a waken
when two make a pair
from lights and mirrors.
God holds a key for us in life and the Devil trys to make us ugly and hurtful and your passion in this poem alone show your grace and I know from all of your wrting that you have the gift of showing the true side of you and what brings out the inner part of your self and life,TY so much for sharing this with me I love it...Belinda
God Bless
This verse shall echo through my mind for a long long time. It is absolutly fantastic, as is the rest of the poem. I love the whole concept. No one is completly faultless, we all have sinned in some way.
This is going to my favorites.
Thanks for sharing. A beautiful write.
That's a rather interesting concept, for I would have never thought an angel would have strayed from the flock. But temptation can be interjected into any one or thing and will is like butter melts at a very low temperature. Thanks for the excellent write
What I find most intriguing in this piece is that it has a different message to each reader.
When I read this, I think of temptation, the Devil's greatest tool against Heaven and Earth. God will envelop his Grace around his children, both in Heaven and on Earth, as protection against their own follies.
The last two lines that provide the most insight. "Seek and ye shall find what is written in stone" leading the reader to believe that what we have in life in is permanent, until you read the final "until the new day dawns", tomorrow is another day, you never know what it will bring and therefore, we should be vigilent against temptation.
Your writing is so meaningful and I'm sure there is an indepth story behind each fantastic word. Excellent poetry which brings such feelings from each line. Your words remind us that nobody is perfect, not even an angel.
I have to admit that this poem is myterious to me. I'm not sure what its about. But I think that may have been the intent. It flows well and has a lovely cadence. Obviously it is capturing the innocence and evil that so often can entwine together.
Nature gives and nature takes. Sometimes we treat nature's presents with the utmost care. Sometimes we take Mother Nature for granted and are being punished for being disrespectful. At that time nature takes and shows it's dirty face. I feel Mother Nature is a bipolar phenomena (not a disorder!) which you have captured very well in this extraordinary poem!
I really enjoyed reading this and I hope it will make readers aware of the value of keeping in balance with Mother Nature, so she never has to show her dirty face again!
It's better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool
