Deep into the part of me not touched by light
Like the new seeds planted in the earth.
When she looks at me I feel like
The hero I’ve never been
The savior I could never be
But through her crystal eyes
I feel that is the real me.
Looking into her crystal eyes
I see such untainted beauty
So beautiful it makes the Garden Of Eden
into a plain landscape of grass and trees.
She quenches my minds thirst
feeds my hungry heart
And protects my damaged soul.
Through her crystal eyes
It’s clear to see I am potential land
And she is the miracle rain.
Dale,
Thank you for putting this in our profile section so I could read it! It is just lovely, as it is calming and filled with admiration and love for another. From the beginning to the end it is beautiful!
I love the last lines............
Through her crystal eyes
It's clear to see I am potential land
And she is the miracle rain
..........just lovely!
Now, just throw in a rainbow for blessings, and you have the fill package!

Another great write. Her crystal eyes can see the parts of you where there has never been light, that shows you have exposed your total self and still remain whole. That is such a wonderful thing to do. You have such talent to feed the emotion and share it's satisfaction through your written words.
This was so wonderful!
It reminded me of the morninging sunlight twinkling through the morning dew in spring.
Beauty flowed from your words as you brought out such a vivid emotion of love and devotion in this piece.
Whether it was an anology for a female or just the rain itself; It was amazing
Wow, how beautifully poetic. I loved it from the title to the end. "Through her crystal eyes, It's clear to see I am potential land, And she is the miracle rain" how amazing. You speak of woman and man yet also land and trees, maybe or perhaps in some way a comparison. either way it is a great write. Kuddos my friend. ;)
How amazing and fulfilling to be seen in that way by someone. It is seldom known in this world of people who are takers focusing on themselves. Beautiful work.
This is so beautiful. Exploring the heart's desire through the eyes of the "other". This is graceful, humble and loving Dale. I love the ending of "miracle rain". How all encompassing. Nicely done my friend. :)
It's better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool
