Just blanks like on a movie set

Letting you know the damage

Everything is ready for cue

Hm, there is something here which makes me curious. I know the feeling and words, well, they can be strong enough to take down a spirit.

Words can posess the annunciation of truth... as well, they can singethe core of the psyche.

This kind of scares me. I know this feeling all too well.

Words may be like blanks, but they still hurt when you get hit with them. And they can leave scars.

You bring to mind a lot of images all at once. As Blackbirdsong said, it's like the old movies and it reminded me of that. It also reminded me of stage acting, but mostly, it reminds me of real life and how deeply it hurts when those we love hurt or betray us.

I wish you'd write on this one...it works as it is, but you leave me with questions about what's going on here and the situation is that has lead you to say, "pull the trigger." Of course this does fit the old show business thing about "always leave them wanting more." So it works. :)
