There comes a rumble

From over yonder

With no reson or rhyme,

Its origin undetermined.

It has left the ground unsettled,

The heartland a mess.

 

Ww could walk for hour

In every direction

And find no cause

For the mystery.

In the end

All we will create

Is a deeper hole

Filled with how and why.

 

All we need is a little faith

In what lies beneath the surface

And draw question mark

In the soil

Using a heart

For the period.
