Another DayA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)a repostSun beats down heating concrete and tar, making leaves green so plants can thrive, bringing natural beauty for the world to see. All these wondrous trees helping protect from the heat and bring a magical lifeline allowing mankind to live with the gift of breathing. This little café filled with busy people talking and laughing, phones are ringing, sounds of silverware and plates clinking. The street is crowded with rush hour traffic, horns keep blowing while reading lips of people cursing just trying to get somewhere. Peace and quiet engulfs this old house except the evening news. talk of politic, religion, people, sports and weather; Some good, some bad. Alarm clock set as I get tucked into bed dreading hearing that sound to signifying another day of work will begin. No doubt that life has gone on since you have been gone, So maybe now its time… I give it a try. © 2008 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Featured ReviewReviews
