Finally

Finally

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

The power of love

"

I finally see all the beauty

in the simple things of nature.

The wind tickling the leaves

or the rain cleansing a dirty day

ever since I saw the sunlight

caress your angelic face.

I finally hear sweet harmonies

from the sounds of everyday.

Birds singing their opera of flight

to the melody of dogs barking

from the moment I heard

you breathe my name.

I finally feel the pleasures

of what make life worth living.

That feel of a hot shower

or the soft cotton as I dry myself

since the day you touched

my heart with yours.

I finally know the meaning of love

the day our souls connected.

beautiful. simply beautiful. I often wonder that when these moments 'click' for us if it's a glimpse of the other side. Not necessarily heaven, or the afterlife. But that sort of high frequency vibration of energy that is pure love-- I'm positive that sort of thing exists :) Thanks for displaying it so wonderfully.

So simple, yet so powerful. Truly remarkable way of letting the intended know just how much they mean to you....telling her that she magnified the world as it is for you. That because of her you see things in their purest and that happened from the moment you met. She is a lucky lady to receive such emotion from somebody.

Very soothing read. I felt a wonderful peace descend upon me as I was following the words. Nice way that you didn't use the 'love' word until the end. I always get too carried away. The last lines really do take the reader away to a new place to think about souls connecting.

Great work!

It's a fairly simple piece - but so are all the things that we often pass by until we suddenly stop and see it, just once, before usually going on again. It's a decent piece. :)

This is pure joy. An absolutely incredibly beautiful feeling you have describe here. You have captured the feeling of euphoria when two people are in love so well. Everything becomes heightened around you. An magnificent piece.
