Lunar Music

Lunar Music

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Every night when the city sleeps

Deep in your mind music plays.

Though very faint it is there

Giving a feeling that all is ok.

So many times you look to the sky

Swearing it rides down on moonbeams

And often when your look to the sky

You’re certain you see a piano and wings.

Every note beats with your heart,

Every chord at one with your soul

That this phantom song brings no fear

In fact you welcome the heavenly harmony.

As you go about your life blissfully unaware

This masterpiece is played by your guardian angel

To drown out the negative sounds of evil

That tempts your conscience and goodwill.

Wonderful visual as always. You paint a scene so vividly. I love the thoughts and feeling this piece left me with. I instantly liked this piece just from the name and then your words just made it better for sure. I love when you find inspiration like this to write something so perfect.

I liked everything but the punctuation.
For some reason it did not seem
consistant to me. If you ever deside
to edit this I would like to read it again.
thanks for sharing

Wow, this is awesome! I just love it. It's funny how one thing someone writes sparks something in another and on and on. :)
I love the way it flows like a musical piece being played. I believe that music and what it does for and to us is a gift from God in heaven. It inspires and strengthens and also gives glory to the one who created it to begin with, when used for good. There's also way of harm and evil it can be used against our minds and hearts.
Music literally has God's healing presence in it at times, in the words or tunes or both. We should take care how it's used.
What a beautiful piece for my library! Very much enjoyed it.
Blessings,
Kelly
