Lunar Music

Lunar Music

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Every night when the city sleeps

Deep in your mind music plays.

Though very faint it is there

Giving a feeling that all is ok.

So many times you look to the sky

Swearing it rides down on moonbeams

And often when your look to the sky

You’re certain you see a piano and wings.

Every note beats with your heart,

Every chord at one with your soul

That this phantom song brings no fear

In fact you welcome the heavenly harmony.

As you go about your life blissfully unaware

This masterpiece is played by your guardian angel

To drown out the negative sounds of evil

That tempts your conscience and goodwill.

Holy wow, you've left me speechless here, hon. This is something else and so powerful! The third stanza was my absolutely favourite. You hit every note perfectly and created an amazing song. :) Love this soooo much!

This is beautiful. It reminds me of summer night sitting outside when the world is quiet just listening to the universe speak.

i love moon dedications - we are all staring at the same moon and wonder if it talks back to us about the very same things we tell it - as if the moon is the place of our secrets while encouraging us through its light....lovely write.

Like jazz in motion. We have no need to hear the music but the fact that its in defense of us, like a giant aegis, is interesting.
The universe flows to the great orchestra.

All over it brother

Wow. Wow. Wow.

Basically ... all I can get out of my mouth is wow.

I love music and am always relating everything to it. There is a song in the night that never really ends and only blends into the song of the day. I love how you captured this.

The moon is Full, the air is warm.
A beautiful time to play piano ...
sending musical vibes to the nocturnal creatures
of the night and the heavens above!

I enjoy that image ... and feel the need to say,
you should include a link to that poem to which inspired you.
I'd like to read it.

That's for the ReRead!
