To Be Or Not To Be Politically Correct? That Is The Question.(Or is it?)

To Be Or Not To Be Politically Correct? That Is The Question.(Or is it?)

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

The dust begins to settle,

Unintentionally breaking the fall

Of the ashes that can no longer be held.

Though the physical weight

Can barely tip the scales,

The psychological pounds

Are more than enough

To create a crater

Where the foundation

Should be standing.

Quicksand is the only way

To escape the prison of the head,

But not fast enough to save

Thoughts born in a caged mind.

Now a wrecking ball

Is the only hope to rebuild

What was already destroyed

Before it was even designed.

Political correctness drives me round the bend. I am sick of it. People employed to find new ways to say things to prevent offence. I am offended by all this political correctness. Not all we do is progress. Dale that's where your lines took me as did Jacob's response. Hope all is good with you.

Thank you Christine. I am doing very well, I hope 2020 is treating you well.
these days it is either not politically correct to be politically correct, or politically correct to ignore politically correctness.

some get aggravated and taken aback by either.
and where is the design in all of that?
yes, destroyed before built solid enough to withstand decades and centuries.
