Dream And Believe (In Life's Dimensions)

Dream And Believe (In Life's Dimensions)

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Charcoal images take the form of 3-D

when your soul believes in things

the center of the eye cannot see.

Those colors shift into vivid images

of those childhood fantasies

that allows crystal clear waters

to break through the psychological dam.

The sudden rush flows through the veins

cleansing the ashes from a tangled soul.

Faith is finally free to roam and flourish

on the sacred land of golden hay.

The fault line to your soul shifts the ground

and the sand of time begins to fall

the way nature always foretold.

Rain washes over the foundation

and fills the vacant cracks with

the missing nutrients to make life healthy.

In the blink of an eye the colors of life

turn into the rainbow path of eternal euphoria

and now those childhood dreams

don’t seem so foolish after all.

Very well written piece of work here. I love how you are able to express yourself so perfect that any one that reads your words is able to feel the emotion and strength of them. I always enjoy the thoughts that your words leave laying in my mind. I always appreciate being left to think and ponder.

Great Job!!!!!

Dale I will have to salute you on a brilliant masterpiece. This has to be the best piece I have read from you till thus far and I have to admit, it left me speechless!!!!
Amazing imagery and magnificent metaphors added to its brilliance. It flowed perfectly and carries a message so deep that one can't help but to sit back for a moment to reflect on everything said here.

To dream is good, sometimes I think that is what keeps us going....

I really loved this and it will def go into my favs.
Thanks you so much for sharing such a beautiful piece with me.

Dale, I love how you described how our soul sees things our eyes don't. Our childhood dreams can be very powerful and you've displayed this so very well.
