Nomad

Nomad

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Tornadoes in your soul

Holes in your soles

Traveling to and fro

Mind always on the go.

With no house in your soul

No tread on your soles

Miles like a blurred line

On the road without time.

Long as blood is in your veins

Life will never live in vain

For the entire country is your home

Where comfort is wherever you roam.

There are those that believe

You have gone mad

But I know in your heart

That you’re really nomad.

I have seen this and thought this...some of those who just seem like helpless homeless might actually have chosen the lifestyle to keep themselves unchained from what normal existence can do to us.
They are not mad...just irritated at what to others is the way to live.
really strong piece, Dale,

Thank you for your great perspective sir.
People of no fixed abode. Happy to wander freely, going wherever their heart takes them. Happy to settle for a while and then move on. Sounds romantic, but I would imagine in reality it is a hard way of life. I like your poetic write about these people Dale. Freedom of the road. All good wishes.
