Promises In Your Dream

Promises In Your Dream

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

When the day

Turns to night

And the stars

Seem too far

Remember the promises

Made in your dreams

So I can lay them

To rest,

Then they can be

Refreshed enough

To make the journey

Through the light

Of reality.

Oh wouldn't it be wonderful to make those dreams a reality Dale? Like the contrast between darkness and dreams and reality and light.

It would be wonderful... thank you.
Your poem reminds me of the difficult balancing act it can be to feel the honesty of the darkness that can be so prevalent at times, and yet also believing in the light-centered possibilities that may exist beyond without really being able to define the promise or the dream. The challenge is to see the next assignment as the dream and the answer, rather than just another hurdle to endure (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
