The Greatest Wonder In The Universe

The Greatest Wonder In The Universe

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Even in its brightest moment

The mystery of its beauty

Is still magnetic

And the world still goes around.

Despite the absence of the wolf’s howl

There is a calling deep in my soul

That says, “Midnight still exists

Before and after the witching hour strikes.”

unlike the sun, the moon does have that pull and makes you want to stare at it for hours.
a wonderful mood setter depending on the occasion

Yes it does. And thank you so much.
A fellow moon gazer. Mesmerising to look at isn't it? Love watching the changing shapes and the shadows on its surface. A crescent moon always looks like a smile for me. I enjoyed reading your poem..
