A White Russian

A Russian Gremlin does its most damage

To a mechanical President

With an egotistic defect.

It frays the end of freedom

With teeth so red they look like

A stripe on the American flag

To a senile Elephant.

The Weight of the Eagles wings

Is now unbalanced causing it to crash into

The Statue Of Liberty like a nuclear bomb.

One can only hope that the death

Of suicidal countrymen will lead

To the rebirth of humanity.

Cannot comment on American politics being as I live in England, just typing to say I like your words, we only see the news that has probably been edited about your President, seems like he is an angry wasp out to settle a few scores to me, hope it all works out for the best for ALL of us and he never feels the need to push that big red button he has been bragging about !

So sad to see my American friends so despondent about the state of politics and its affect on the world. I have travelled to the U.S. twice this year. So much turmoil this new reality. I for one can't wait until our two countries return to some sort of normal relations. I cannot remember things ever being this way between Canada and the U.S.
