When You Get Mother Goose DrunkA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Little
Miss Muffet broke her tuffet While
pigging out on curds and whey, Little Bo
Peep sat on the floor beside her Leaving
the spider in dismay. They
talked about lost sheep, Like that
Jack and Jill Who always
run up the hill Just for a
bucket of water, When they
could just steal it From Old
Mother Hubbard Distracted
catering to her dog Because she
didn’t have a bone. Once she
was the wife Of Old
McDonald living on his farm But he
never heard her cries From all
the animals making noise. Now she
lives with cupboards bare While he
get rich from the black sheep’s wool, Using the
money to spoil Mistress Mary So her
garden can grow, Meanwhile buying
all her pretty maids hoes. I could go
on but I will make my point clear, Perception
is deception When you
give Mother Goose too much beer. © 2018 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
