I love the message here! We are called to be salt and light, and as believers, may be the only Bible some people ever read. Christ is not just for Christmas. We should be that light, shining brightly, all year round!
Jesus stood for compassion, empathy, nurturing, help. His legacy still lives on because these values are what's pure and most important. We can all be like him.
I totally agree...peace and happiness start with consideration. Everyone needs and wants love. If every person did that for one another...our world could be miraculous!
being that star for someone in need...
we don't often make time to help those in need.
a wonderful reminder of what the holidays are really about. humanity, kindness, charity
I love this, what beautiful sentiments, I do also wish everyday was as lovey as that one. Its in the crowd and the air, if we all loved like we do at Christmas the earth would be filled with joy, a nonstop utopia.
It's easier to be sad than happy, happy takes more work it seems, more discipline.

It is easier said than done for sure, but we should try and do the best we can... thank you again.
This is one of the best messages you've penned that I've read so far. It's also one of the best messages about the "real meaning" of Christmas. I love that it goes much further than just saying "remember the reason for the season" (blah, blah, blah) . . . your message gives people a road map to concrete actions that can change this holiday season from the typical materialism that often prevails. This is a gentle reminder worded respectfully. There is NOTHING, no store-bought thing, that can compare to the satisfaction of being a bright star for someone who's struggling.
