Well I'll Be Damned

A little ditty that ain't so pretty but still kinda witty.

Dale, Dale

Fell down the well

That was dug so deep

He went straight to hell.

 

There the devil said

“Don’t you dread,

for you are not dead.”

With a fitting grin he said

“At least not yet!!”

 

So I stood there to ponder,

Till my mind started to wonder

Why I was feeling higher

Than a funeral pyre.

 

So then I had to burn, burn

Until I learned

To find my peace

Inside a holy urn.
