ScarlessA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Pure
pale skin Has
never felt the burn That
comes from the passion Of
the being in the sun. Skin
so white Can
only be wrapped around A
soul too cold to have ever been born.
A
body with no marks That
represents mistakes From
the chances one took Has
never felt the rush That
comes from jumping Into
the fire without a hose. That
is a body that went from The
womb to the pine box.
An
unbroken heart Is
a spirit that has never felt The
rhythm of love While
dancing to the ballad of life, That
is a heart that I feel sorry for.
Living
without risk Is
a self-imposed death sentence, Being
without bleeding Is
a terrible tragedy, And
to be without scars Is
to be stillborn. © 2016 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
